TAMS always treats each of your devices as confidential and provide the highest level of security.

What is E-waste ?

At TAMS we define e-waste as anything that plugs in or runs on battery power. It will come as no surprise that our lives have become inundated with devices that fit that definition. Each of these devices have a variety of components that, if introduced to the landfill, will create environmentally hazardous leaching of toxic materials.

What is the environmental impact of disposing electronics into the environment without any precaution?

Electronics are complex devices which are made of a wide variety of materials. Some of the materials, such as lead, nickel, cadmium, and mercury, could pose risks to human health or the environment if mismanaged at their end-of-life. The EPA is very concerned about ensuring the proper management of used electronics and has undertaken important work to increase the collection and responsible recycling of used electronics.

Shipping your Electronic Surplus?

The collection and shipment of your e-waste is a bigger deal than you may realize. The proper packing and handling of these materials can be the difference between maintaining functional integrity of the assets and creating a pile of recycle material. TAMS experienced and trained personnel treat all of your assets as if they have top resale value.

We are concerned with three primary areas when managing surplus electronics:

  1. Security of your data stored on electronic media associated with your computer equipment
